2025 National College Sewing Machine CNC Design Contest Kicks Off in Changzhou: GetonAgain Sponsors, Boosts Talent Development

On the afternoon of June 25th, the 2025 National College Sewing Machine CNC Design Contest, themed "Cultivating Talent for the Sewing Machine Industry and Accelerating Digital Development," was inaugurated at Changzhou Textile and Garment Vocational College. Tianjin GetonAgain High-tech Co., Ltd. sponsored the "GetonAgain Cup" Cutting Equipment Nesting Process Design Contest, injecting strong momentum into the development of industry talent.

Mr. Yang Xiaojing, Chairman of the China Sewing Machine Association, extended warm congratulations on the contest's launch. He stated that this national contest targets college teachers and students, aiming to cultivate urgently needed CNC professionals for the industry, broaden cooperation channels between universities and the sector, and establish a new pattern for high-quality industry development. On behalf of the association, Mr. Yang put forward five expectations for the contest and the young participants:

Mr. Gao emphasized that this event aims to attract, identify, and recruit young talents to the sewing machine industry through competition. It seeks to gather a large number of outstanding engineering and technical talents to accumulate strength for the industry's resurgence. This is an event of great significance for the nation, the people, and the industry, with current and long-term benefits.

The "GetonAgain Cup" CNC Cutting Bed Nesting Process Design Competition, a key component of the contest, aligns closely with actual industry needs and consists of three consecutive assessment modules:

1. Garment CAD Grading: Contestants must accurately grade a standard ladies' shirt CAD base pattern to produce complete cutting pieces in four different sizes within a limited time.
2. Mixed Nesting: Based on full-size cutting pieces, this module focuses on optimizing material utilization and improving production efficiency through cutting path planning.
3. Pattern Matching Nesting: Contestants are required to complete nesting design for a single ladies' shirt according to process requirements, strictly meeting the standards of precision工艺 in garment production.

On June 22nd, the Wuxi station of the competition was held at Wuxi Nanyang Vocational and Technical College.

On June 25th, the Changzhou station was successfully launched at Changzhou Textile and Garment Vocational and Technical College.
