The 2025 "GetonAgain Cup" CNC Cutting and Layout Design Competition Concludes Successfully in the Guangdong Province.

On June 30th, the fourth stop of the 2025 National College CNC Design Competition for Sewing Machinery was successfully held at Guangzhou Industry and Trade Technician College. Lin Jianlong, Supervisor of the China Sewing Machinery Association, attended the event. More than 70 students from four institutions—Guangzhou Industry and Trade Technician College, Guangzhou Vocational and Technical College, Dong guan Technician College, and Zhong shan Vocational and Technical College—participated in this CNC cutting bed layout process design competition.

Competition Highlights

The “GetonAgain Cup” CNC Cutting Bed Layout Process Design Competition is one of the three continuous assessment modules of the even:

1.Garment CAD Grading:

Participants must accurately develop complete pattern pieces for four different sizes within a limited timeframe, based on a standard women's shirt CAD master pattern.

2.Mixed Fabric Layout:

Contestants will optimize material utilization and plan cutting paths using full-size pattern pieces, demonstrating their ability to enhance production efficiency.

3.Pattern-Matching Layout:

Competitors will execute single-shirt layout designs that strictly comply with refined garment production standards, meeting precise pattern alignment requirements.
